How do you create new workspaces and manage workspace members?

Create a new workspace when you want to use Asana with a different group. Data is not shared between workspaces, and those in one of your workspaces won't see your other workspaces unless you explicitly invite them.

Choose "New Workspace" from your account menu (your account menu is accessed by clicking your name in the lower left corner of the app).

To add someone to a workspace, make sure you've selected the appropriate workspace and place your mouse to the right of the workspace name to display the Edit icon. Clicking the Edit icon displays the invite and manage members option along with some others.

If your account doesn't yet have All Workspaces View, you can access the Invite and Manage Members dialog by clicking the Gear Menu on the bottom of the workspace section. 

You can either add new people as full members of the workspace or you can add them as Guest Accounts




To remove someone (including yourself) from the workspace, in the same dialog and tab as above, mouse
 over someone's name to bring up a remove button. Clicking this button will immediately remove the person's access to the workspace. Removing someone from a workspace will also remove the workspace from their left pane. 

You can also remove yourself using the Remove Me From This Workspace option in the workspace Gear Menu.
