Asana and Harvest integration

 

You can now use Harvest in Asana to track time spent on your tasks.

If you do not wish to use Harvest, you may want to consider other time tracking options. Watch our time tracking episode of How to Asana to learn more about other integrations.

Harvest for individuals

Activate Harvest for yourself:

  1. Click on your profile photo and select My Settings...
  2. Navigate to the Apps tab
  3. Click on Activate

You will see a stopwatch icon in the task details pane of each task. Click on the stopwatch to start tracking your time for that task using Harvest.

If you're not already logged into Harvest, clicking on the Harvest icon (stopwatch) in the task details pane will prompt you to log in. You can then choose which Harvest project and task to associate with the Asana task. If you've previously used Harvest on the task, the default is what you had previously used.

Harvest for teams

Any team member will have the option to enable Harvest for the entire team.

Activate Harvest for your team:

  1. Hover over the team's name in the sidebar, click on the three dot icon and select Edit Team Settings.

From Team settings:

  1. Navigate to the Advanced tab
  2. Check the Enable Harvest box

Everyone in your team will see a stopwatch icon in the task details pane of each task and can click on the icon to start tracking time spent on that task.

Harvest for workspaces

To activate Harvest for your workspace head to your admin console, click on the Settings tab and click on Harvest integration.

Check the box to enable the Harvest integration for your workspace and click on Done.

Everyone in your workspace will see a stopwatch icon in the task details pane of each task and can click on the icon to start tracking time spent on that task.
