The AI Teammates add-on license can be added to any Starter, Advanced, Enterprise, or Enterprise+ user license. To access the add-on after purchasing, an Admin must assign the user a license in the admin console. To purchase the add-on, you must contact your Asana sales representative or reach out to Sales directly.
Domain admins, super admins, and division admins can assign licenses and designate user roles for the add-on.
To manually assign licenses:
To license and assign AI Teammates in bulk, upload a completed CSV template from the admin console. In the CSV file, first add AI Teammates to each user in the add-on column.
You can view AI Teammates usage in the admin console, from the Billing tab.
From here, admins can view:
Admins can monitor how AI Teammates are being used across their domain or division directly from the Billing page in the admin console. To access this view, navigate to the Admin console, select Billing from the left sidebar, and then select AI Teammates. At the top of the page, you will see a summary of key usage metrics, including total AI Teammates requests, the number of AI Teammate creators, the number of AI Teammates created, and the number of members who have used AI Teammates.
To see usage broken down by individual member, select the Members tab on the AI Teammates usage page. This view displays each member alongside the number of AI Teammates they have created, their total requests, and the date of their last use. This information helps admins understand which members are actively engaging with AI Teammates and how frequently they are making requests.
To see usage broken down by individual AI Teammate, select the AI Teammates tab on the usage page. This view lists all AI Teammates in the domain, along with the creator of each teammate, the number of unique users who have interacted with it, the total number of requests it has received, and the date it was last used. Admins can use this information to identify which AI Teammates are most active and assess overall adoption across the organization.
