Asana’s portfolio PowerPoint export allows you to export your portfolio data directly to PowerPoint presentations with just a few clicks. This feature automatically creates slides containing your portfolio lists, status updates, and milestones, saving teams valuable time on executive reporting.
Teams can customize these presentations while maintaining Asana as their source of truth, ensuring that executive reviews and operating summaries always reflect accurate, up-to-date portfolio data.

How to use portfolio PowerPoint export
Portfolio PowerPoint export allows users to create PowerPoint presentations directly from their Asana portfolio data. Here's how to use the feature:
- Navigate to the desired portfolio in Asana, assuming you have the permissions.
- Click the dropdown menu beside the portfolio name.
- Select Export or sync from the menu.
- Choose PowerPoint from the available options.
From here, choose whether to include the most recent status update and to export your dashboard view. Click Export when finished.
The exported presentation serves as a starting point for operating reviews and executive summaries. Users can then edit and customize the presentation in PowerPoint itself to enhance the narrative while maintaining the accuracy of the underlying portfolio data. When you export portfolio information, all the content will be included, so nothing gets cut off. If some content goes beyond the slide, you can quickly edit or resize this in PowerPoint to make it fit your needs.

Currently, portfolio lists and milestones are automatically included in the export. You can choose whether to include status updates.
Can I edit the presentation after exporting?
Yes, the exported file is a standard PowerPoint presentation that can be edited and customized as needed.
Are portfolio status updates included in the export?
Yes, portfolio status updates can be included in the export to provide context and progress information.
What is the order of milestones on the project's slide?
Incomplete milestones are shown first, ordered from earliest to latest due date. Milestones without due dates appear after the latest dated milestone. A maximum of 20 milestones are shown in the export.
What is the order of work on the table on the nested portfolio slide?
For nested portfolios, the export displays items exactly as they appear in the first tab of your portfolio view. The first 20 items from this view will be included in the export.
Can dashboard charts be included in the export?
Yes, dashboards can be included in the export.
