You can create and manage multiple out of office entries to reflect different time away periods. Your out of office entries update your away status and do not disturb behavior the same way as before. This gives you flexible scheduling without needing to overwrite a single date range.
You can open out of office from two places. Click your profile photo in the top bar and select Settings, then navigate to the Profile tab to open the profile settings modal. You can also click Set out of office directly under your profile picture.
From the out of office settings modal, choose your start and end dates. Select Save to add the entry to your upcoming out of offices.
Use the out of office settings modal to review your upcoming and past entries. Select an entry to edit dates or notes, or click the trash icon to remove it if plans change. Changes apply immediately and your status updates across Asana.
When an out of office entry is active, your profile shows an away status and your do not disturb settings reflect that you are out. Teammates will see that you are away when they hover over your profile and in places where your avatar appears. If you have notifications configured, they will behave the same as before while you are out.

Create separate entries for different travel blocks or holidays so each period displays correctly.
