This article explains Asana Client Management pricing, including plan tiers, AI usage, and available add-ons. You'll learn how the Starter and Advanced plan tiers compare, how AI requests work, and how to get started with a trial.

Pricing options

Asana Client Management is available on two paid plans:

Starter: For agencies that need one shared workspace to manage client communication, project status, and client-facing work.

Advanced: For agencies that need to connect client-facing work, meetings, projects, and resource management in one place.

Pricing is composed of two parts: a base plan, determined by your tier and number of seats, and AI consumption, determined by your AI usage.

Asana Client Management includes a set amount of AI, with the option to purchase more based on your needs.

AI Teammates and Dash usage

Usage of AI Teammates and Dash are measured separately from your base plan. The unit of consumption is a request, which is one successful unit of work completed by AI on a user's behalf. AI Teammates and Dash use the same request pool, so they do not have separate allowances.

Requests are shared across your Asana account rather than assigned per user. This means one person can use more requests if others use fewer, as long as the account stays within its limit. Included requests reset at the start of each billing month and do not roll over.

If you use more than your included requests, you can buy additional AI usage through usage packs, which are prepaid, or on demand, which is pay-as-you-go. Purchased usage stays available for the length of your contract.

Timesheets and Budgets (TBAO)

Timesheets and Budgets (TBAO) is an optional add-on available on Starter and Advanced. It lets teams track time on projects and monitor budgets in real time. For details on the TBAO add-on, see Timesheets and Budgets help center article.

Trials

Asana Client Management and Timesheets and Budgets are available in a 14-day trial for new and existing Asana customers. Admins and billing owners can start the trial from the admin console. During the trial, everyone in your organization gets access automatically, and you do not need to assign licenses individually.
