Asana is testing a new navigation. This new navigation is part of a measured experiment, and some users and domains will see a new navigation during the experiment window. The experience is the same across plan tiers that are eligible. If you do not see the sidebar with Work, Plan, Workflow, and Company icons yet, your domain may not be included.
Asana’s new navigation helps you find your work faster by grouping tools by the type of work you are doing. It organizes the interface into clear modes so it is easier to move between planning, doing work, building workflows, and viewing your company structure.

In this section, you will find your recent and starred project templates, custom fields, rules, forms, bundles, and more in the future. This section is dedicated to deploying, monitoring, and managing your workflows, templates, and AI at scale.

Open the left navigation and select a mode to change context. Your projects and tasks do not change when you switch. The main pane updates to show tools that match the mode you selected.
