Visit our pricing page for more information.

Asana Service Management uses a hybrid pricing model. Every contract includes two components:

  1. Per-seat fee for members
  2. AI resolution fee

The per-seat platform fee covers the member seats you need to manage queues. The AI Resolution fee is variable and applies when AI resolves a ticket end to end without a member stepping in. AI Resolutions cannot be purchased on their own; they require member seats to be purchased as well. .

Who needs a seat

  1. Members need a paid Asana Service seat and an Asana Work Management seat.
  2. Requesters, meaning the employees who send requests, do not need a paid seat or an Asana account if submitting via email or Slack. If submitting requests via the Asana portal, admins must assign them a free requester license. This requester license includes a free Asana Work Management View Only license, but it does not grant broader Work Management or Agentic capabilities, nor does it provide access to work content that hasn't been explicitly shared with them or the organization. To learn more, see the View Only licenses article.
  3. Queue admins also need a member seat. Queue admin is a permission level granted to a member, not a separate seat type.

What counts as an AI Resolution

An AI Resolution is a single employee service request handled autonomously and successfully by AI from start to finish. It begins when an employee submits a request through Slack, email, or the Asana Service Portal. If a service desk member needs to step in, the request does not count as an AI Resolution.
